  "I've used MTL on more than one occasion. Had to relocate interstate due to custody and Jackie picked up the phone on a Sunday morning and had me moved by 24 hrs. She was empathetic, caring and very professional. Workers disassembled and wrapped furniture, cleaned and tidied my messy rooms, all the while reassuring me while loading boxes without damaging any furniture. I used a local company after MTL was booked out and had a broken leg with my new velvet coach, 2 dents in my brand new Samsung fridge. I was gutted. It's a family run business, I was discounted on the rate but was blown away by their efficiency and gentleness in handling my things. Cannot recommend them enough. Will be moving again soon and am grateful these guys can fit me in. 10 stars if I could."

  "The worst moving company you could ever imagine!!... Don't let there fake reviews on there website fool you! Tried to move a 3 bedroom home, it was booked in and confirmed the day before the move the called and said they had to reschedule our move, we didn't think to much of it, as it was only another 5 days so we waited. AGAIN it was rescheduled time and time again, A WHOLE Month living in our new home with a wife and toddler with NONE of our belongings. 2 and a half weeks into the wait I received a call saying they would do it next week 100% but the price was going to be $625 more!! NOT what they had sent me in the original quote. At this stage I was annoyed and told them cancel my booking refund my deposit and I'll find someone else, they refused to refund me and said OK we will do it $350 more, i said no we had an agreed price and I left a deposit based on that amount. Valuables missing too! Stay away!!"

  "AVOID AVOID AVOID. Avoid this company. Simple 3 bedroom home, not even fully furnished. A 10 minute drive to my new property. Thousands of dollars worth of damage to my furniture. Rude managers who hang up on you. Movers who take hours and don’t even take any care moving your belongings. This is a company who will hold your belongings to ransom and threaten to call the police if you don’t pay their ridiculous fees when they damage your stuff beyond repair. No customer service. Now having to deal with the drama of their resolution team to try to get my furniture replaced. I have been attempting to deal with their complaints department since I moved two weeks ago, you’ll be ignored and if you finally do manage to get one of them on the phone, they are blunt rude and unprofessional. Brian can really sell their business over the phone, please don’t believe it. I have experienced first hand that they can talk themselves up but can not deliver on one single thing."

  "Cancelled on me on the day of the job. Via SMS only. Before a row of public holidays. Stopped answering phones and messages. The job was booked three weeks ahead. They took a deposit and didn't refund it and didn't get in touch about it. While searching for an alternative, another customer of their got in touch with me with the same experience. Stay away as far as you can."

  "STAY AWAY! We moved in Oct and it was an absolute disaster... don't believe the 5-star reviews. I wish I didn't! Everything the reviews say was the opposite of what we got!! The horror story is too long, but in summary: Eric came to see the house after it was packed then under quoted the job by 2.5 trucks (we had to summon another company to help move us in between), settlement was 12 noon and they finally moved us out at 7pm (with my husband on the trolley), they broke a bottle of 1978 Grange and also said they hooked up our freezer (which was fully of food), only to discover 3 days later it wasn't! I wrote to Eric via email about these issues - (after delayed responses) he blamed me for the underestimation of the quote, the Grange and the fridge. Eric and his mate lied! They take no responsibility and blame us (the not-professional movers!) What a joke! DONT USE THEM!!!!!!!!! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF HEARTACHE and EXTRA CASH!"
